Department Wireline
Location Hobbs, NM



The Wireline operator will be responsible for the rigging in and out of Wireline equipment.  The Wireline Operator position will report to the Wireline Supervisor.



Must be able to successfully pass an ATF background check

Prior Logging and Perforating experience preferred

Class A CDL with HazMat endorsements preferred

Crane and/or heavy equipment operating experience preferred

Able to analyze and resolve problems 

Organized and detail oriented

Self Starter

Handle multiple projects and be able to set priorities and achieve project deadlines

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule


Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in rigging up and rigging down

Safely and effectively use and maintain stimulation equipment

Safely and effectively use and maintain industry specific logging and perforating tools

Complete all required pre and post trip inspections for all operations to insure all units are in a safe and proper working condition

Demonstrate high work quality and commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment

Work cooperatively in a diverse work environment

Adapt well to ever changing climate and operational conditions

Operate company vehicles and equipment

Work Environment

Fact paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change

Work in an environment with exposure to noise, dirt, dust, variable temperatures and inclement weather up to 12 hours a day


Physical Demands

Lift, lower, push, pull, leverage and manipulate Wireline tools and equipment

Bend, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, stand, walk, and turn/pivot up to 12 hours a day
